Welcome to second semester! Our first unit is a study of Orwell's 1984 and its relevance to our world today. Here I will keep track of daily activities, but it is still your responsibility to see me for your make up work within a day of your return according to school policy. Please do so ASAP so you don't get behind.

1-18-17: First Book Club discussion! Students completed a variety of activities approaching the content from various perspectives. then they meet together to discuss the assigned section of the book to increase their knowledge of content and themes.
1-20-17: Students read an article and analyzed the content to make text to text, text to world, and text to self connections.
